We have brought the best of Burma back to the US with our laphet (fermented tea leaves). In Burma, edible tea is a national staple of the diet. From whole leaves to fermented and seasoned, "Eat your tea"™ could well be a national mantra.

After steaming, pressing, and rolling, the leaves are left to ferment underground for a minimum of three to six months, resulting in an incredibly savory laphet packed with antioxidants. To ensure we obtain the highest quality in all our leaves we've partnered with a farming co-op where we're able to offer the farmers fair wages while teaching them about organic and regenerative farming practices.

We have recently developed a range of products from The Burma Love Foods Company including the iconic and award winning Burma Superstar Tea Leaf Dressing and our much admired Burmese Crunchy mix which, used together with crisp lettuce and fresh tomato allows the creation of our signature Burma Superstar Fermented Tea Leaf Salad.

Our new Traditional Lotus Chips are complimented perfectly with our Original Tea Aioli dip. All of these products are soon to be available from our retail partners and through our new online store.

Our traditional Lotus Chips are a favourite of the Burma Love and Burma Superstar restaurants based in San Fransisco bay area. These hand-sliced lotus chips are made from the roots of the revered lotus flower and are naturally savoury with a hearty crunch. Makes an excellent alternative to the usual potato chips, and goes especially well with dips and spreads such as hummus or Burma Love’s Fermented Tea-Aioli.
