Tastermonial’s Take on Create Mindfully’s Baked Tofu Fries (With Tea Aioli!)

a sandwich cut in half on a plate

This week, we tried out Create Mindfully’s Baked Tofu Fries recipe. These “fries” are gluten-free and vegan, making them perfect for both food connoisseurs and those with dietary restrictions. Follow along with us as we make these flavorful tofu fries!

Tofu is a great source of plant protein made from condensed soy milk. While it may taste bland, to begin with, tofu can be flavored in any way imaginable. Think of it as a blank slate! What’s more, there are so many ways that tofu can be utilized in cooking or baking.

Silken tofu has a soft consistency and is popular in smoothies, soups, or vegan desserts, and provides a creamy base. Firm and extra-firm tofu, on the other hand, are popular in stir-fry recipes, battered and baked, or deep-fried in savory dishes. This recipe calls for extra firm tofu so that the “fries” are tender and hold together well.

Once the tofu fries are done in the air fryer, serve them hot with your favorite sauce. Our choice? Burma Love Foods Tea Aioli, found in our Tastermonial shop. Eat up and enjoy!
